Bio for Christopher Willson
Senior Regional Director
With more than 23 years' experience working in commercial real estate, Chris Willson leads First Industrial Realty Trust's Minneapolis office and directs the company's leasing, acquisition, development and other portfolio initiatives in the Upper Midwest.
As Senior Regional Director of First Industrial's Minneapolis/St. Paul region, Mr. Willson oversees the company's lease negotiations, asset management, acquisitions, dispositions, developments and build-to-suits.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Willson served First Industrial in a number of roles. As Regional Development Officer, he was responsible for supervising all development projects in both the Twin Cities and the Detroit metro area. Earlier, he was responsible for overseeing the region's brokerage and marketing activities.
Before joining First Industrial, Mr. Willson worked for nearly 10 years as an industrial real estate broker with CB Commercial and Koll Real Estate.
A licensed real estate broker, Mr. Willson is an active member of the Board of Directors for the Twin Cities chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR) and CoreNet Global, and a designate member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.
