Bio for David O'Reilly
Portfolio Manager
With 14 years' experience working in the industrial real estate industry in portfolio management and investments, David O'Reilly brings a depth of expertise in acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures to his role as Investment Officer.
As an Investment Officer based in First Industrial Realty Trust's Atlanta office, Mr. O'Reilly is responsible for originating new investment opportunities and provides real estate solutions to corporate customers throughout Atlanta and the Carolinas.
Since joining First Industrial in 2000, Mr. O'Reilly has served in a variety of posts including Investment Associate, Senior Investment Analyst and Portfolio Analyst. While with the company, he has managed activities for the Carlyle/First Industrial joint venture portfolio and has been involved in the acquisition, redevelopment and disposition of more than 13.5 million s.f. of real estate closings totaling more than $500 million.
Previously, Mr. O'Reilly served as a Project Manager and Chicago Operations Manager for Bradburne, Briller & Johnson, LLC / WB Realty Group, LLC. Earlier, he was a Project Engineer at Law Engineering & Environmental Services, Inc.
An active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Mr. O'Reilly was recently selected to serve on NAIOP's Capital Markets Forum and Dorey's Atlanta Advisory Board.
He holds an MBA in finance and real estate from DePaul University and a master's degree in environmental engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. He earned his undergraduate degree from Illinois Benedictine College.
